George L. Kumar is Vice President of Marketing and Scientific Affairs at Targos Group, U. S. A. He has obtained his PhD degree from the Max Planck Institute for Behavioral Physiology in Seewiesen, Germany, followed by Post-Doctoral Training at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory in Heidelberg, Germany, as well as at the University of Wisconsin Medical School/College of Engineering in Madison, WI, USA. In 2010, Dr. Kumar graduated with an MBA with Honors from the Colorado State University in Ft. Collins, CO, USA. His area of expertise is in global medical marketing, scientific/medical affairs and as a key opinion leader program management.

Before joining Targos, Dr. Kumar was a Global Scientific Program Manager at Dako; a Senior Scientist in R&D for Applied Precision, Inc., and Applications Scientist at Perkin Elmer in USA. He has conducted numerous workshops around the world, notably at the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Singapore; at Seoul National University/Korea Institute of Science and Technology - South Korea; at Reliance Life Sciences in Mumbai, India; University of Tokyo, Japan; and at Pfizer in Skokie, IL, USA. Dr. Kumar has also been invited to present his work at the " First Schlossmann Seminar of the Max-Planck Society in Mainz, Germany"; "Gordon Research Conference on Cell Biology of the Neuron in Plymouth, NH USA" as well as in a Special Symposium on "The Sense of Smell: From Molecules to Perception" Sponsored by the SmithKline Beecham Stiftung, Assmannshausen, Germany" along with Nobel laureates Professor Linda Buck and Professor Erwin Neher.
